Purchased on Ebay in 2002, this Girl Guide item was hitherto unknown to me. It is a presentation folder for the Denmark Girl Guide stamp, issued October 25, 1960. The presentation folder was mailed from the Danish postal authorities to their colleagues in West Germany on the First day of Issue, informing about the new stamp.

The presentation folder has on front a printed text in Danish, which gives information about the new stamp. Inside (page 2) of the folder is blank. Inside (page 3) contains a black print of the stamp in enlarged format, affixed to the folder. The reverse (page 4) is the address side with stamp and first day cancel.

Please inform the author should you have further information on this presentation folder.

The Danish text translates to:

Copenhagen, September, 1960.
In connection with Her Majesty the Queen's 25th Girl Guide anniversary, there will be produced for release on October 25, 1960, a commemorative stamp with face value 30 øre and with a 10 øre surtax for the benefit of "The Girl Guides' Fund for the benefit of distressed, sick and troubled children".
The drawing for the stamp is by the artist Viggo Bang, and the engraving is by the Finnish engraver Birger Ekholm.
The stamp format is twice the regular stamp format, and is produced in sheets of 50 stamps.
The appearance is as shown on the enlarged illustration overleaf.
