| Guyana issued in 1982 6 booklets containing various combinations of definitive stamps with overprint "SCOUT MOVEMENT 1907-1982", and "BADEN-POWELL 1857-1982". Some of the booklets also contain 1969 scout stamps overprinted "POSTAGE" and/or surcharged. Guyana have for the last 10-15 years followed an expansive stamp issuing policy, and issued many stamps. Among these are many boy and girl scout stamps that came without overprints, with overprints, with overprints on overprints, revalued and surcharged. It is tempting to compare this flood of stamps with the infamous sand dune issues that we saw 25-30 years ago. However, the prices and popularity of the Arab stamps are increasing, and perhaps this also will happen with stamps from Guyana. | ||

| Booklets 2, 3 and 4 have green cover with printed in black "SCOUT MOVEMENT 1907-1982" and revalued $5.00 on $3.00. Booklets 1, 5 and 6 have cover in blue, with red printed "SCOUT MOVEMENT 1907-1982" and value $6.00. Booklets 3-6 have the number on the reverse (rubber cancel?), while the numbers are not seen on booklets 1 and 2.
