Description:
Interrupted mail sent within, to or from the Scandinavian countries, including mail which has been delayed and/or damaged due to aircraft accidents, maritime disasters, train and car trouble and postal service mishaps.

LZ 127 "Graf Zeppelin" flies to Norway

Description:
The "Graf Zeppelin" flights over Norway in 1930 with mail drops over Hammerfest and Bergen.

Zeppelin - the Norway connection

Aero-philatelic exhibit, 8 frames.
Exhibited since 2010.
Description:
The postal connections between the German Zeppelin airships and Norway. The flights over Norway in 1930 with mail drops over Hammerfest and Bergen, and mail sent to or from Norway and carried by these airships 1912-1939.

Best result:

Søndagsbrev som ikke er utbragt søndag. En studie av unnskyldningsblanketter og stempler som forklarer forsinkelsen.
(Sunday Mail which was not delivered on Sunday. A study of labels and cachets used to explain the delay.)

Postal history one-frame exhibit.
Exhibited since 2005.
Description:
Posthistorie fra Egersund fram til ca 1875. Egersund fikk offentlig poståpneri i 1831, og postekspedisjon i 1849. Det første poststempelet ble utsendt i 1848, og det bodde da ca 1500 mennesker i Egersund.

Description:
Utvandringen fra Norge til Nord-Amerika dokumentert gjennom poststedsnavn av norsk opprinnelse.
